67 16 010 Removing and installing/replacing left headlight vertical aim adjuster (up to 09/2000)

Remove lens/reflector, refer to 63 12 034 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LENS/REFLECTOR FOR LEFT HEADLIGHT (UP TO 09/2000) .

Detach high beam cover cap (1) and low beam cover (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation instructions :

Make sure high beam cover cap (1) and low beam cover (2) are correctly seated.

Fully release adjusting screws (3).

Up To 01/1997:

Detach insert (1) at bottom from interior headlight vertical aim adjuster in direction of arrow.

Installation :

Ensure insert (1) is correctly seated on interior headlight vertical aim adjuster.

From 01/1997:

In addition, turn lower holder through approx. 90° and lever out at headlight vertical aim adjuster underneath.

All:

Pull insert (1) in direction of arrow out of headlamp housing (2).

Installation :

Make sure guides (1) and (2) are correctly seated in headlamp housing (3).

Up to 01/1997:

When converting the headlight vertical aim adjuster from a headlight (old version), you must clip the supplied holder onto the headlight vertical aim adjuster.

All:

Unfasten screws.

Disconnect plug connection and remove headlight vertical aim adjuster.

Installation :

Adjust headlamps. Refer to 63 10 004 ADJUSTING HEADLIGHTS .
