64 53 510 Removing and installing/replacing drier flask for air conditioner

NOTE: A/C system is drawn off, refer to 64 50 009 DRAWING OFF, EVACUATING AND FILLING A/C SYSTEM (R 134A) .
Follow instructions for dryer bottle replacement, refer to 64 53... NOTES ON REPLACING DRIER BOTTLE OR DRIER INSERT .

Remove complete right headlight, refer to 63 12 002 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING RIGHT HEADLIGHT or 63 12 006 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING RIGHT HEADLIGHT (XENON HEADLIGHT) .

Remove holder for headlight mounting, refer to 63 12 950 REPLACE ONE BRACKET FOR HEADLIGHT MOUNT .

Unfasten screws.

NOTE: Pull pressure and intake pipes upwards and fit with plugs if A/C system remains open for longer than one hour.

Installation:

Replace sealing rings.

Unfasten screws and pull drier flask upwards to remove.

NOTE: In warranty cases, seal line openings with plugs of new dryer bottle.
