54 12 210 Removing and installing complete slide/tilt sunroof (frame)

Remove drive unit with transmission for slide/tilt sunroof actuation,

refer to 67 61 510 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING DRIVE WITH GEAR FOR ACTUATING SLIDE/TILT SUNROOF .

Remove headliner,

refer to 51 44 011 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING HEADLINER (WITH SLIDE/TILT SUNROOF) .

Remove water drain hoses (1) at front/rear.

Unfasten Omega clips (2).

Unfasten screws (1) at front and (2) at left/right.

Unhook left/right clip and lower slide/tilt sunroof frame slightly.

Installation: 

Fold up back of frame until rear clips can be unfastened.

Slide slide/tilt sunroof frame backwards and lift out through right rear door.

Installation: 

Insert slide/tilt sunroof frame in sheet metal slot at front.
