52 17 380 Removing and installing/replacing headrest support on left or right front seat (comfort)

Removing headrest, refer to 52 17 390 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT HEAD RESTRAINTS (COMFORT) .

Remove bottom of rear panel, refer to 52 17 202 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING BOTTOM REAR PANEL ON FRONT SEAT BACKREST (LUXURY SEAT) .

Remove top of cover from claw-type cover clips.

Version With Multifunction Headrest:

If necessary, remove connector.

Installation:

Check function.

The cable must not be under tension.

Pull off connectors.

Press cover and support upwards, unfasten screw (1) and pull complete headrest support (2) with semi-circular shell section (3) downwards to remove.

Installation:

Attach semi-circular shell section (3) in headrest support (2), install and secure with screw (1).
