52 17 390 Removing and installing or replacing front left or right head restraints (comfort)

Pull headrest upwards firmly.

If necessary, pull headrest upwards into top position and, at the same time, tilt forwards and backwards.

Version With Multifunction Headrest:

CAUTION: If the multifunction headrest is replaced with a normal headrest, the power supply must be interrupted. To do this, remove rear panel, refer to 52 17 202 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING BOTTOM REAR PANEL ON FRONT SEAT BACKREST (LUXURY SEAT) .

Version With Multifunction Headrest:

If necessary, remove connector.

Installation:

Check function.

The cable must not be under tension.
