52 23 401 Replacing cover for left or right Child seat

Removing and installing rear seat, (sedan) refer to 52 23 511 ADDITIONAL WORK WITH INTEGRATED CHILD SEATS or (touring) refer to 52 26 005 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REAR SEAT (THROUGH-LOADING) .

Unfasten nuts (1) and pull Child seat off rear seat.

Untie steel cable (1) and lift out of lugs (2). Lift out cover (3) on all sides.

Unhook cover at front.

Unfasten rear clips (1).

Installation:

Bend new clips (1) with special tool 52 0 050.

Unfasten left/right clips (1) and take cover off Child seat.

Installation:

Bend new clips (1) with special tool 52 0 050.

Remove all trim wires from cover.

Cut new cover and insert the trim wires.
