51 24 145 Removing and installing/replacing button for trunk lid actuation

Remove lower trim power from trunk lid, refer to 51 49 005 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TRIM FOR LOWER TRUNK LID .

Pull out connector attachment (1) for line in cable bracket (2).

Lift out top button (1) and pull upwards (2) to remove.

Installation:

Insert lines through right bore.

Pull off clip (1) and remove micro-switch (2). Pull off seal (3).

Installation:

Perform function check with trunk lid open.
