51 45 051 Replace trim for upper section of instrument panel

Remove trim for upper section of instrument panel,

refer to 51 45 050 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TRIM FOR UPPER SECTION OF INSTRUMENT PANEL

Unfasten screws and remove cover (1) for passenger airbag.

Depress interlock and remove fresh air grill (1) (center).

Unfasten screws and remove rubber gaiter for steering column from instrument panel (1).

Unfasten screws and remove outer (1) and center (2) brackets.

Unscrew bolts.

Detach and remove left air duct (1) in center (2).

Unfasten screws and remove right air duct (1).

Press down detent and remove bracket (1).

Pull grill for left/right air duct (2) outwards to remove.

Lift out grill for top left/ right air duct.

Installation:

Remove all clips and slide onto new trim for upper section of instrument panel.
