65 12 072 Removing and installing (replacing) amplifier (Top hi-fi system)

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Take out trunk floor trim panel. Refer to 51 47 101 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR TRIM(S) .
- Disconnect and cover battery negative lead. Refer to 12 00 ... INSTRUCTIONS FOR DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY .
NOTE:
If necessary, remove tool bag.
Unscrew bolt (1).
Take off holder (2).
Raise right amplifier (3) a little.
Unfasten plug connection (4) and disconnect.
Guide amplifier (3) in direction of arrow past loading sill cover (5) and remove.
Replacement:
Carry out coding/programming.
Observe following IDC specifications:
- Programming
- Coding
- If necessary, car & key memory
- CD "CIP"
