22 31 005 Removing and installing/replacing transmission support bracket

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove air cleaner housing. Refer to 13 71 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING INTAKE FILTER HOUSING .
Remove battery compartment (W10 only). Refer to 61 21 100 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING BATTERY CONTAINER .

Release screws (1).

Push fuse box to one side.

Tightening torque, refer to 61 13 1AZ in GENERAL ELECTRICAL SYSTEM - TIGHTENING TORQUE .

Secure engine in installation position. Refer to SECURING ENGINE IN INSTALLATION POSITION WITH SPECIAL TOOL (W10/W11) .

Release screw (1).

Tightening torque, refer to 22 32 3AZ in ENGINE AND GEARBOX SUSPENSION - TIGHTENING TORQUES .

Release screws (2).

Tightening torque, refer to 22 32 2AZ in ENGINE AND GEARBOX SUSPENSION - TIGHTENING TORQUES .

Remove transmission support bracket.
