11 22 000 Removing and installing or replacing drive discs (CVT)

NOTE:

Special Tools Required: 

Necessary Preliminary Tasks: 

Use special tool 11 2 150 and special tool 11 8 320 to hold crankcase vibration damper in position.

Loosen flywheel in the sequence (8-1).

Remove flywheel. Refer to 11 22 500 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING FLYWHEEL .

Installation Note: 

Fit new flywheel screws.

Firmly tighten in the sequence (1-8).

Tightening torque, refer to 11 22 1AZ in ENGINE - TIGHTENING TORQUES- COOPER (1.6L) R50/W10 .

Installation Note: 

Align marking (1) on crankcase with marking (2) on flywheel.

See Fig 3.

Assemble engine.
