65 12 070 Removing and installing/replacing amplifier (HiFi system)

If necessary, remove video module,

refer to 65 50 510 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING VIDEO MODULE FOR ON-BOARD MONITOR (SALOON) .

If necessary, remove bracket for video module. To do this, unfasten screws (1) and remove bracket.

If necessary, remove bracket for navigation computer. To do this, unfasten screws (1) and remove bracket.

Disconnect connector, unfasten screws and remove amplifier.

NOTE: Cars from 3/98:

The amplifier must be recoded after being replaced, refer to Diagnosis and Information System (DIS).
