63 12 016 Replacing left headlight (adaptive headlight)

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove left headlight. Refer to 63 12 015 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT HEADLIGHT (ADAPTIVE HEADLIGHT) .
Remove drive unit for adaptive headlight. Refer to 63 12 895 REPLACING DRIVE FOR LEFT ADAPTIVE HEADLIGHT .
Remove control unit for left xenon headlight. Refer to 63 12 860 REPLACING CONTROL UNIT FOR LEFT XENON HEADLIGHT .
Remove bulb for left xenon headlight (ignition unit). Refer to 63 99 ... INSTRUCTIONS FOR HANDLING LIGHT BULBS (EXTERIOR LIGHTS) .

After Installation:

Carry out programming/coding. Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROGRAMMING/CODING .
Adjust headlight. Refer to 63 10 004 ADJUSTING HEADLIGHTS .
