51 24 120 Removing and installing/replacing left or right lock for rear lid lower section

Remove trim for rear lid lower section. Refer to 51 49 090 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TRIM FOR REAR LID LOWER SECTION .

Release screws (1) on drive (2).

Unfasten plug connection (1).

Lever out Bowden cable (2) from right lock and (3) from left lock and remove drive (4).

Unclip Bowden cable (1) from holders (2).

Release screws (4) and remove left or right lock (5).

Installation:

Lay Bowden cable (1) under cable (3).

Installation:

Bowden cable (1) must engage correctly in lock (2).
