51 12 001 Replacing rear bumper (Z3 roadster, M roadster)

Unscrew License Plate (Z3 Roadster Only):

Remove complete rear bumper, refer to 51 12 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COMPLETE REAR BUMPER (Z3 ROADSTER, M ROADSTER, Z3 COUPE, M COUPE) .

US version also (Z3 roadster only):

Unfasten screws (1) (from below/inside) and (2) and remove baseplate (3) from licence plate.

Remove Rear Bumper Center Section (Support Member):

Unfasten expanding rivets (1) and remove center section of bumper (2).

Only Replacement Of "Rear Bumper Trim And Bumper":

Unclip finisher strip for towing eye and remove catch band.
