51 11 794 Replacing a shock absorber for bumper, front (Z3 Roadster, M Roadster, Z3 Coupe, M Coupe)

(Bumper Removed)

(If necessary, remove front bumper, refer to 51 11 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COMPLETE FRONT BUMPER (Z3 ROADSTER, M ROADSTER) .)

Unfasten nut (1) and remove shock absorber (2).

Tightening Torque, 51 11 3AZ. Refer to 51 11 FRONT BUMPER .

Installation:

Height of bumper is determined by turning the socket head cap screw (1) on the shock absorber (2).

Adjust front bumper, refer to 51 11 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COMPLETE FRONT BUMPER (Z3 ROADSTER, M ROADSTER) .
