11 65 185 Removing and installing/replacing heat shield, bottom (S63)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove both exhaust turbochargers. See REMOVING LEFT TURBOCHARGER (CYLINDERS 5-8) and REMOVING RIGHT TURBOCHARGER (CYLINDERS 1-4) .
Remove both exhaust manifolds. See REMOVING EXHAUST MANIFOLD AT LEFT and REMOVING RIGHT EXHAUST MANIFOLD .
Remove ALTERNATOR .

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 11 65 5AZ .

Remove heat shield (2) towards top.

Assemble engine.
