51 16 163 Removing and installing/replacing rear center console cover

Special tools required: 

When working on trim panel components, make sure that the sensitive surfaces are not scratched or damaged.

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!
If necessary, mask center console (1) and cover (2) with plastic adhesive tape.

Press special tool 00 9 325 between center console (1) and cover (2).

Unclip cover (2) towards rear.

If necessary, unlock associated plug connections and disconnect.

Remove cover (2).

Installation note: 

Latches on cover and counterparts on center console must not be missing or damaged.
