54 10 155 Removing and installing/replacing rear floating headlining

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

IMPORTANT: Make sure that grease on the rails does not come into contact with the floating headlining.

Move rear floating headlining (1) forwards (close).

Unfasten screws (2).

Tightening torque 54 10 03AZ .

Slide floating headlining (1) uniformly forwards.

If necessary, raise slider (2) for front and rear floating headlining.

Move slider (2) back to the point where there is no longer any contact to the floating headlining (1).

Remove rear floating headlining (1) as follows:

  1. Press to the right in guide rail (2) of slider
  2. Raise upward
  3. Remove in direction of arrow
