54 10 150 Removing and installing/replacing front floating headlining

Necessary preliminary work:

Remove GLASS TILT SUNROOF COVER

IMPORTANT: Make sure that grease on the rails does not come into contact with the floating headlining.

Open floating headlining (1) until screws (2) are still accessible.

Unfasten screws (2).

Tightening torque 54 10 03AZ .

Slide floating headlining (1) uniformly forwards.

If necessary, raise slider (2) for floating headlining.

Move slider (2) back to the point where there is no longer any contact to the floating headlining.

Remove floating headlining (1) as follows:

Press to the right in guide rail (2) of slider
Raise upward
Remove in direction of arrow.
