84 10 810 Removing and installing (replacing) Telematic Communication Box

NOTE: Comply with notes and instructions on HANDLING OPTICAL FIBRE .

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Unscrew nuts (1).

Release screw (2).

Remove the holder with TCB (3) from the body.

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.

Release all nuts (2).

Remove TCB (3).

Installation note: 

Note color coding of plug connections (1).

NOTE: When replacing the TCB, check whether the faulty TCB is equipped with an EMERGENCY BATTERY :
  • if no  , then the new part is installed without an emergency battery! 
  • if yes  , then the new part should be equipped with a new emergency battery  (ordered separately, TCB is supplied without an emergency battery!)

Replacement:
