33 55 000 Removing and installing/replacing rear anti-roll bar (M6)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Support exhaust system at a suitable point with workshop jack.

Unscrew nuts (1).

Tightening torque 18 20 4AZ .

(Graphic shows left side, right side is identical.)

Detach hose (2) on vacuum unit.

Slacken nut (1).

Tightening torque 18 20 5AZ .

Lower exhaust system.

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 33 55 1AZ .

Turn anti-roll bar (2) and remove sideways.

Installation note: 

Replace screws.

Installation note: 

Ensure that the two retaining tabs (1) of the anti-roll bar are correctly aligned.

The shorter tab of the retaining tab (1) must face the direction of travel.
