66 53 522 Replacing reversing camera

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove REVERSING CAMERA

Unclip the fastener (1) from the plug connection (2).

Unlock latch mechanism (1) and detach connector housing (2) from plug connection.

Remove rubber seal (1).

Release screws.

Pull out cable duct (1).

Remove cover (2).

Feed cable (3) out of cover (2).

Remove reversing camera (1) from the housing in direction of arrow.

Installation note:

Ensure correct latching of shaft (1) in housing (3).

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Installation note:

Ensure correct cable routing.

Release screws.

Remove the connector housing (3) from the reversing camera (2).

Installation note:

Grease the shaft (1) sufficiently prior to installation.

Carry out VEHICLE PROGRAMMING AND ENCODING .
