65 50 057 Removing and installing/replacing Central Information Display (CID)

Special tools required: 

IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROSTATIC DAMAGE (ESD PROTECTION) .

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

NOTE: Build version up to 07/2012 only.

Unclip the screw covers (1) from CID (2).

Release screws underneath.

Tightening torque 65 50 2AZ .

Installation note: 

To tighten screws, use special tool 00 9 460 .

Unfasten screws (2).

Tightening torque 65 50 1AZ .

Installation note: 

To tighten screws, use special tool 00 9 460 .

Unclip CID (1) in direction of arrow from rear cover.

Installation note: 

CID must noticeably and audibly lock at the marked points on the rear cover (1).

Carry out VEHICLE PROGRAMMING/CODING .
