64 11 841 Replacing actuator drive for right footwell flap

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove RIGHT GLOVE BOX WITH HOUSING

Position of actuator drive:

OVERVIEW OF ACTUATOR DRIVES ON HEATING AND AIR-CONDITIONING UNIT

Release screws (1).

Installation note:

Replace screws (1).

Take off holder (2).

Unclip connecting piece (1) and slide downwards.

Installation note:

Latching of connecting piece (1) must be felt.

Release screws (1).

Feed out right footwell air outlet duct (2).

If necessary, disconnect plug connections at actuators.

Release screws (1).

Remove servomotor (3) and unlock and disconnect plug connection (2).

Replacement:

Servomotors must be readdressed in the event of replacement!

Addressing can only be carried out with the BMW diagnosis system.
