64 11 819 Replacing servodrive for fresh air/ram air (N52T, N55)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove RIGHT/REAR SUSPENSION CROSS-BRACE

N55 only: 

Unlock and disconnect all plug connections.

Unlatch connector housing (1 and 2) from guide of auxiliary E-box (3).

N55 only: 

Release screw (1).

Carefully unlock retaining hooks (2) and lift additional electronics box (3) upward while simultaneously pulling it forward.

Installation note: 

Ensure guide lug (2) sit correctly in the respective recesses of the fan housing.

Unlock plug connection (1) on AUC sensor and disconnect.

Release screws (1) on blower housing cover (2).

Lift out blower housing cover.

Release screws (1).

Remove actuator drive (2).

Unfasten plug connection (3) and disconnect.

Replacement: 

Servomotors must be re-addressed in the event of replacement!

Addressing can only be carried out with the BMW diagnosis system.

• Body
• Heating and air conditioning function
• Flap motors
• Readdress flap motors
