61 71 100 Removing and installing/replacing windscreen washer pump

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

NOTE: Washer fluid will escape when the windscreen washer pump is pulled out; have a collecting vessel and a cleaning cloth ready.

Release cable strap (1).

Unlock filler channel (2) on washer fluid reservoir (3) and pull out.

Release screw (4).

Detach water fluid line (5) from holder.

Pull washer fluid reservoir (1) in direction of arrow slightly towards front.

Feed cable for side repeater (1) out of washer fluid reservoir (2).

Press windscreen washer pump (3) upwards in direction of arrow and lay to left side.

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Detach washer fluid line (2) from windscreen washer pump (3).

Remove windscreen washer pump (3).

Installation note: 

If necessary, coat sealing ring of windscreen washer pumps with lubricant.

Ensure hose pipe is laid without kinks.

Make sure electrical leads are correctly laid.
