51 16 368 Replacing right glove box with housing

Special tools required: 

When working on trim panel components, make sure that visible surfaces are not scratched or damaged (e.g. by sharp-edged tools).

Necessary preliminary work: 

Release screws (2) of cover panel (1).

Tightening torque 51 16 15AZ .

Remove cover panel (1).

Remove GLOVE BOX LIGHT (1).

Unlock fuse carrier cover (2) and remove.

Lever out left and right protective caps (1) from storage compartment (2) using special tool 00 9 327 and remove.

Release screws (1) on storage compartment (2).

Tightening torque 51 16 16AZ .

Pull out storage compartment (2) toward the front and set aside.

Unclip left and right snap-in sockets (1) and slip out of glove box housing (2).
