52 14 125 Replacing left lumbar support valve unit

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Partially remove backrest cover. See BACKREST COVER FOR DRIVER'S SEAT or BACKREST COVER FOR FRONT PASSENGER SEAT .

Remove valve body (2) from spring wire in direction of arrow.

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Installation note:

Check that valve body is correctly seated.

Unlock quick connectors and detach air hoses (1) and (2).

Valve unit for lumbar support:

Hose (clear) lumbar support pump
Hose (blue/red), lumbar support

Installation note:

Connections are coded against incorrect assembly.

Connect plug connection (3).
