84 10 700 Removing and installing/replacing base plate

Necessary preliminary tasks:

F12/F13 only:

Remove center armrest storage compartment. See 51 16 172 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING CENTER ARMREST STORAGE COMPARTMENT .

Carefully lever out base plate (1) with special tool 00 9 340 /00 9 341.

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.

Remove base plate.

Installation note:

Ensure correct cable routing.
