51 37 240 Removing and installing or replacing outer window cavity cover strip for door window, rear left or right

Special tools required:

00 9 311

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Open side window
Open soft top
Open soft top compartment lid.

Detach edge protection (1).

Raise the latch mechanism (2) on the corner of the weather strip in direction of arrow.

Release cover (1) from clips (2).

Installation note:

Always replace clips (2).

Attach adhesive tape (1) below window cavity cover strip (2) (paintwork damage).

Using special tool 00 9 311 (beginning at front and proceeding to rear), lever out window cavity cover strip (2).
