51 71 482 Removing and installing/replacing left or right tension strut (on rear axle) (N55, N63)

Driving without the trailing link is not permitted!

Only for F12, F13:

Release expanding rivet (1) and remove cover (2).

Release screw (2).

Tightening torque 51 61 12AZ .

Installation note:

Replace screw (2), tighten to specified torque and angle of rotation.

Release screw (3).

Tightening torque 51 61 10AZ .

Installation note:

Replace screw (3), tighten to specified torque and angle of rotation.

Unscrew nuts (4).

Tightening torque 51 61 11AZ .

Remove trailing link (1).
