51 71... Removing and installing/replacing sound insulation for bulkhead upper part

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove cover for windscreen cowl panel. See 51 13 116 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING COWL PANEL COVER .

Remove rubber (1).

Release screws (3).

Tightening torque 51 71 3AZ .

Unfasten screws (2).

NOTE: Screws (2) are partly behind side sound insulation.

Remove side sound insulation.

Release screws (4).

Tightening torque 51 71 3AZ .

NOTE: Screws (4) are behind central sound insulation.

(Refer to the following operation.)

Remove middle sound insulation.

NOTE: Arrows mark bolting points of middle sound insulation.

Installation note:

Make sure line feed-through (1) is correctly seated.
