63 11 845 Replacing left LED fan (inner)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove headlight with LED technology. See 63 12 140 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) LEFT HEADLIGHT WITH LED TECHNOLOGY or 63 12 143 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) RIGHT HEADLIGHT WITH LED TECHNOLOGY .
Remove headlight driver module. See 63 11 570 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING THE LEFT LED TECHNOLOGY HEADLIGHT DRIVER MODULE .

Release latch mechanism (1) and screws underneath.

Tightening torque 63 11 6AZ .

Remove cover (2).

Installation note:

Gasket (1) must not be damaged and must be installed free from grease.

Press together connector (1) (arrow) and disengage to the rear into light housing.

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!
Do not bend pins of connector (1)!

Release screw (2) on LED fan through opening (1). Release screw (3) through opening (1) with special tool 2 296 785 .

Screw (2; 3) tightening torque 63 11 5AZ .

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Remove fan (2) to the side.
