16 12 010 Removing and installing/replacing carbon canister (US version with DMTL)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Detach rear silencer at rear left (exhaust system remains installed).

Release screws (2) and nuts (1) and remove stoneguard (2).

Installation note:

Check and, if necessary, renew plastic nuts/sheet metal screws.

Remove heat shield (1).

NOTE: Graphic without exhaust system.

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Unlock snap fasteners (2) and disconnect lines.

Release screws and nuts (3) and remove carbon canister.

Installation note:

Tightening torque 16 13 1AZ .

The following components must be modified when the carbon canister is replaced:
