61 31 336 Removing and installing/replacing trim for gear selector switch

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Disconnect BATTERY EARTH LEAD
Remove center console cover. See 51 16 160 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING CENTER CONSOLE COVER .

Release screws (1).

Slip out cover for gear selector switch (2) via selector lever (3).

Unlock and disconnect plug connection (1) from switch for electromechanical parking brake (2).

Replacement

Modify SWITCH FOR ELECTROMECHANICAL PARKING BRAKE (2).
