61 35 146 Removing and installing/replacing Convertible top module

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.

Release nuts (2) and remove module (3).

Replacement: 

Teach-in process: 

  1. Close soft top.
  2. Only on vehicles up to version 09/2011 Briefly release closing button (< 5 seconds).
  3. Operate closing button for 30 seconds (until LED flashes - LED flashes to indicate that the teach-in procedure is complete).
  4. Release closing button.
