63 17 061 Replacing left or right fog lamp

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove fog lamp, refer to 63 17 060 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIGHT FOG LAMP (UP TO 10/2003) or 63 17 060 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIGHT FOG LAMP (FROM 10/2003) .

WARNING: Follow instructions for handling light bulbs (exterior lights).

Up to 10/2002:

Turn cover (1) counterclockwise through approx. 45° and remove.

Pull plug connection (1) out of housing and disconnect.

Press retainers (2) in direction of arrow and remove bulb (3).

From 10/2002:

Turn bulb holder (1) in direction of arrow and remove from fog lamp (2).

Installation:

Note type of bulb, refer to 63 13 TURN SIGNALS E53 .
Adjust fog lamps, refer to 63 10 014 ADJUSTING FOG LAMPS .
