Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove mirror on front door . See 51 16 000 REMOVING AND REFITTING/REPLACING MIRROR ON LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT DOOR (TO 07/13) or 51 16 001 REMOVING AND REFITTING (REPLACING) MIRROR ON LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT DOOR (07/13 ON)
IMPORTANT:
If reusing the existing window cavity cover strip (1), make sure it is not bent.
Lever out weather strip (1) with special tool 00 9 324 (starting at B-pillar).
Installation note:
Moisten weather strip (1) prior to installation with APPROVED LUBRICANT .
