54 12 136 Removing and installing/replacing roofliner for glass slide/tilt sunroof

Installation:

If headliner is difficult to move, apply a light coat of Renax GL1 (manufactured by Fuchs) to guide duct.

REMOVE GLASS SLIDE/TILT SUNROOF .

Slowly pull the headlining frame (floating headlining) fully forwards.

Release screws (1).

Slowly push the spring slide. (2) towards rear.

NOTE: Adhere to the utmost cleanliness. Wear gloves where appropriate.

Remove the headlining frame (3) towards top.
