63 21 055 Replacing a socket housing for left or right rear light (on side panel)

WARNING: Follow instructions for HANDLING LIGHT BULBS (EXTERIOR LIGHTS) .

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove FLAP IN LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM

Turn socket housing for rear light (1) or (2) in direction of arrow and pull out of rear light (5).

Pull socket housing for rear light (3) and (4) out of rear light (5).

Remove associated BULB(S) .

NOTE:

Socket housing, brake light (1)
Socket housing, brake light (2)
Socket housing, reversing light (3)
Socket housing, direction indicator (4)

Installation:

Make sure socket housings for rear lights (1, 2, 3, 4) are correctly seated and engaged on rear light (5).
