63 99 401 Replacing bulb for left or right number/license plate light

WARNING: Follow instructions for HANDLING LIGHT BULBS (EXTERIOR LIGHTS) .

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove NUMBER PLATE LIGHT

Release retaining bars (1) in direction of arrow from number/license plate light (3).

Feed heat shield (2) in direction of arrow out of number/license plate light (3) and remove.

Installation:

Make sure heat shield (2) is correctly seated and engaged on number/license plate light (3).

Spread bow contacts (1) outwards and remove bulb for number plate light (2).

Installation:

Note BULB TYPE .
