52 26 020 Removing and installing/replacing backrest for left or right rear seat

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove TRIM ON C-PILLAR on left or right
Remove REAR SEAT

Right backrest:

NOTE: Use a short Torx attachment to release screw (1).

Release screw (1).
Tightening torque: 52 26 04AZ .
Fold backrest forwards slightly (2)
Pull backrest forwards and outwards out of center mount (3)

Left backrest:

Release screw (1).
Tightening torque: 52 26 04AZ .
Fold backrest forwards slightly (3)
Pull backrest forwards and outwards out of center mount (4)
