18 32 605 Removing and installing both connecting pipes on catalytic converter (N63 hybrid)

WARNING: The following points must be strictly observed prior to starting work: 
WARNING: Scalding hazard! 
Only perform this work after engine has cooled down.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

NOTE: Texts refer to, and illustrations show, the left side. Procedure on right side identical.

Release nuts (1).

Tightening torque 18 31 2AZ .

Installation: 

Remove seal.

Clean sealing faces.

Replace seal.

Check exhaust system for leaks.
