51 43 259 Removing and installing/replacing trim for rear roof pillar (D-pillar), left or right

Special tools required:

00 9 317

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove C-PILLAR TRIM AT BOTTOM left/right

NOTE: Work is described on the right side, left side is secured only by one expander rivet.

Release expander rivet (1) and (right side only) (2).

Release trim panel (5) with special tool 00 9 317 at clips (3).

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!

Carefully remove trim (5) to avoid damaging the roofliner.

Feed out belt (6).

Installation:

Mucket must overlap trim (5) along dashed line (4).

Installation:

If necessary, replace faulty clips (1).
