51 43 251 Removing and installing or replacing trim panel for left or right rear roof pillar (C-pillar)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Removing TRIM PANEL FOR D-PILLAR

Lever out trim (1) and release screw underneath (2).

Release clip (3).

Raise trim panel (4) and feed out in downward direction.

Installation note

Replace missing and damaged clamps (3).

IMPORTANT: If some clamps (1) are lost during removal, if necessary remove C-PILLAR STORAGE COMPARTMENT (2) in order to take out clamps (1).

Installation note:

Make sure the trim cover is correctly seated in mounts.
