12 14 512 Replacing pulse generator on left exhaust camshaft (N63 hybrid)

WARNING: High-voltage system - danger to life!

WARNING: The following points must be strictly observed prior to starting work:

DE-ENERGIZE THE HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM
Observe SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS for handling with hybrid vehicles

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Read out fault memory of DME control unit; if necessary, work through test schedules
Turn off ignition
Remove left INTAKE SILENCER HOUSING

Unlock plug (1) and remove.

Release screw (2).

Tightening torque 13 32 3AZ .

Remove pulse generator (3).

Installation:

Replace sealing ring and coat with antiseize agent.
