11 13 020 Removing and installing/replacing lower oil sump section (N63 hybrid)

WARNING: High-voltage system - danger to life!

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove REINFORCEMENT PLATE
REMOVE OIL DRAIN PLUG and drain engine oil.

Unlock plug connection (1) on oil level sensor and disconnect.

Release screws (2) along line.

Tightening torque 11 13 2AZ .

Remove lower oil sump section (3).

Installation:

Clean sealing surfaces.

Replace seal.

Replace screws.

When replacing oil sump bottom section:

Convert oil level sensor.

Replace sealing ring.
