52 25 025 Removing and installing complete center cushion section for rear seat

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove ARMREST FOR REAR SEAT BACKREST

Release screws (1).

Remove frame (1) in direction of arrow.

Installation:

Make sure retaining lugs are correctly seated in guide.

The frame must be replaced if the retaining lugs are faulty.

Disconnect spring (1).

Removing cushion section on left and right in succession:

Press retaining tab.
Press latch mechanism outwards and pull seat cushion upwards.

Unclip cushion section towards rear from pivot bearing.

For a better overview, the following operation is shown with the seat cushion removed .

Installation:

Make sure cushion section is correctly seated in pivot bearing.
