52 25 018 Removing and installing/replacing four-bar lever on left or right rear seat backrest

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove rear HEAD RESTRAINT
Move backrest as far forwards as possible

NOTE: For purposes of clarity, the following operations are shown in the released state.

Detach cover (1) from Velcro fastener.

Pull cover (1) upwards out of guide from four-bar lever.

Installation note:

Make sure cover guide is correctly seated on four-bar lever.

Unscrew nuts (1).

Installation note:

Replace nuts (1).

Tightening torque: see 4AZ in 52 25 REAR SEAT, ELECTRIC

Release screws (1) and remove four-bar lever (2).

Tightening torque: see 6AZ in 52 25 REAR SEAT, ELECTRIC

Remove CONTROL UNIT .

Remove PUMP .
